I adopted the artist tag "Storkz" while I was on exchange in Berlin, Germany, and have continued to use the name throughout my artistic endeavors, including the name "Storkz Brand", for example, which I used to launch a clothing brand last year. Its origins are silly... in high school I mildly enjoyed the DreamWorks film "Storks", and for some reason turned my exaggerated enthusiasm for the film into an inside joke amongst my community.  Simultaneously, my high school basketball team had a routine stretch, the "Stork Stretch", which happened to be my favorite. It was all a joke, but I held the name over time, and have since grown fond of it.
